How to care for your Flash LED screen cover
The Flash LED screens are IP65 rated for outdoor use – please follow these steps
- Make sure there is no damage to the wire when passing through into the cab to power the unit
- Do not trap the wire in the door as this may cause damage to the wire
- Always make sure that there is no water, dirt or other debris in the screw in electrical connector before use
- Always roll the screen cover the correct way see below
- Never fold the LED screen or cover as this may damage the display electronics
- Do not stand on the led display or connections
- Always put the screen cover away dry to avoid any mold, or decay to the screen or cover parts. If its wet when you pack up camping take the cover out when home and dry thoroughly before repacking for your next trip
- Do not drive with the cover on
- Keep away from fires, hot ashes or burning embers as they will put holes in the cover and may damage the LED
Packing the Flash LED screen cover
Place the cover flat
Its easier if its flat, without any creases. Make sure the cover is dry or dry when home.
Fold the doors in
Place the doors over the main front screen to aid final folding
Fold top over
Fold the top of the screen cover over along the edge of the led screen
Fold the bottom up
Fold the bottom up so that the cover just has the led left flat ready to roll
Roll inwards
Roll inwards so as not to stretch the latex screen which will damage if rolled outwards.Do not roll too tight.
Cleaning your LED screen cover
Simply use some warm soapy water and a soft cloth. The LED screen can be wiped with a soft damp cloth to clean it. If the cover gets mud or dirt on it, use a circular motion to wash the marks away. DO not scrub in one place for too long as it may damage the fabric.
When you have a nice clean screen cover you can apply additional fabric protection spray if required to further ease future cleaning. Always follow the manufacturers instructions and thoroughly dry the cover each time.
